Evangelist Cynthia Patrick

 

 

 

First Lady of Bethesda Garden, Minister, Choreographer,

Playwright, Director & Praise Dancer

 

Evangelist Cynthia Patrick is the wife of Bishop Edward Patrick and First Lady of Bethesda Garden Temple Church, Inc. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, attending Jackie Robinson Junior High School, Junior Richman High School for the Arts, and Living Hope Dance Theater. Evangelist Patrick has nine years of dance experience within the school system.  Showing her diligence and commitment, Evangelist Patrick worked as a Legal Secretary for a noteworthy 17 years. Evangelist Patrick currently employed at Brian Manner Assistant Living as a most respectable and reliable Nurse Aid. Evangelist Patrick is worthy of all blessings for her selflessness in aiding, ministering, and support of the youth, community, church, and overall society.

 

Evangelist Patrick has been honored by the Congregation of Bethesda for her love, guidance, advisement, and motherly tenderness. In addition, she has received many trophies awards for outstanding performance. In dance, Evangelist Patrick has performed in a multitude of places throughout the Metropolitan Area of New York. She has danced with the greats, such as Eddy Kendrick’s, and is still pressing her talent forth to new levels of perfection.

 

Evangelist Patrick is the eldest daughter of six children to Erma and Edward Benjamin. She is the mother to Isaiah Smith Patrick and the grandmother to Isaiah Smith Jr. and Tamiyah Gibson. Evangelist Patrick received her Minster License in 1992. She is the President of the Women’s Department, former Director of the Adult and Children Choir, as well as dance choreographer for special services, including Bethesda’s Annual Black History Celebration.

 

In 2006, Evangelist Cynthia Patrick created “Lord Make Me Over,” a dramatic performance/skit based on a modern version of the Prodigal Son Parable. This skit has been requested by a multitude of churches within New Jersey, Virginia, and other surrounding states, with aspirations for future expansion and possible worldwide exposure. Evangelist Patrick is a most accomplished spiritual warrior in the Lord and within her community. She has successfully overcome many trails and struggles in her life, has the experience and wisdom to teach the youth and overall is a most honorable role model for all generations.
